CIVIL ENGINEER

Sinohydro Corporation Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Civil Engineer in Zimbabwe.

• Supervise and coordinate civil engineering works
• Review civil drawings, designs, specifications and technical documents
• Monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with engineering standards
• Supervise earthworks, foundations, concrete structures, roads and drainage works
• Coordinate civil works with mechanical, electrical and other engineering disciplines
• Monitor contractors and construction progress
• Conduct site inspections and assist with quality control
• Identify and resolve technical problems
• Prepare engineering reports and documentation

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Relevant professional experience, preferably in major infrastructure, mining or hydroelectric projects
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively on construction and project sites
