4. GEOSPATIAL & REMOTE SENSING ENGINEER

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
-Process and analyse satellite and remotely sensed data.
-Develop digital maps and geospatial datasets.
-Conduct GIS and spatial-data analysis.
-Perform terrain and site assessments.
-Support engineering, mining and infrastructure projects with geospatial information.
-Interpret satellite imagery and remote-sensing data.
-Maintain GIS databases and spatial information systems.
-Prepare technical maps, reports and geospatial documentation.
-Support project planning and monitoring through GIS and remote-sensing technologies.

Qualifications and Experience
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Geospatial Engineering, Remote Sensing, GIS, Geomatics, Surveying or a related field.
Experience with GIS and remote-sensing software.
Knowledge of satellite imagery, spatial analysis and digital mapping.
Strong analytical and technical skills.
Experience in engineering, mining, infrastructure or environmental projects will be an advantage.
