JOB VACANCY – MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Amazon (Pvt) Ltd. is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Mechanical Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Design, install and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.
-Supervise mechanical installation, commissioning and maintenance.
-Diagnose mechanical faults and implement corrective solutions.
-Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes.
-Review mechanical drawings, designs and technical specifications.
-Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
-Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, automation and production teams.
-Conduct inspections of machinery and mechanical systems.
-Assist with procurement and technical evaluation of mechanical equipment.
-Prepare engineering reports, maintenance records and technical documentation.
-Ensure mechanical activities comply with applicable engineering, quality and safety requirements.
-Support continuous improvement of machinery, production systems and plant efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience
REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
-Relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering, machinery maintenance or industrial operations.
-Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
-Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
-Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
