Plant Supervisor – Production Line

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on plant supervisor to oversee daily operations on our production line. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to quality standards, while leading and motivating a team of machine operators and line staff.

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the assigned production line
• Ensure production schedules and output targets are achieved
• Monitor product quality and enforce quality control standards
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on the shop floor
• Manage, train, and motivate line staff and machine operators
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams
• Track and report on production metrics (output, downtime, waste, efficiency)
• Manage shift schedules, attendance, and staff performance
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction
• Ensure proper handling and stock control of raw materials and finished goods

• Proven experience as a production/plant supervisor or similar role for 3 years
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field (advantageous)
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations (OSHA or local equivalent)
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends/overtime if required
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, production tracking systems)
