Teaching Assistant: Metallurgical Engineering

The University seeks to engage a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, department of Metallurgical Engineering

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Lecturers in delivering tutorials
- Mark students' assignments and tests
- Support student research projects
- Participate in community outreach activities
- Contribute to the University's income-generating projects
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson

Qualifications and Experience
- At least five (5) Ordinary Level passes, including Mathematics and English Language
- BSc/BEng (Hons) Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Applicants must have a degree classification of at least 2.1
- Applicants should be 30 years old or below
- Successful applicants are expected to enroll for a relevant Master's Degree within the first year of employment
